Why we publish them

The marketing is the paper itself.

Most RCM and AI-billing vendors gate their white papers behind email forms, then run an SDR sequence against everyone who downloads. We do not do that. The papers are open web. You can read them on your phone over coffee. You can share them inside your organization. You can quote them in board materials. We track citations and have on occasion contributed updates back to industry bodies.

The economic logic is simple. A CFO who has actually read our V28 migration playbook is a CFO who understands why the work we do is worth what we charge. The papers do the heavy lifting that an SDR sequence never would. Most of our larger engagements start with a CFO emailing the senior partner whose name is on a paper they read.

What you do not see on this page
No email gate. Click the paper. Read it. We did not record your visit.
No download form. The paper is the page. Bookmark it.
No SDR sequence. No one will call you because you visited.
No MQL retargeting. The pages do not load tracking pixels beyond the basic analytics that any honest site uses.
No watermarked teaser. The paper you see is the paper. There is no fuller version behind a contact form.
Open citation welcome. Cite ASP-RCM. Link to the page. We will not ask for permission.
Common questions

Frequently asked: the white papers.

Why does ASP-RCM publish white papers?
Because the work we do is genuinely deep, and the field benefits from honest technical reference material. The papers are not gated marketing assets; they are operating references that practices use whether they engage us or not. The economic logic: a CFO who actually reads our V28 migration playbook is a CFO who understands why the work we do is worth what we charge.
Are these papers really free? No email, no gate?
Yes. No download form, no MQL capture, no follow-up sequence. The pages are open web. You can copy and share them inside your organization. You can read them on your phone over coffee. The papers are the marketing asset; the engagement is the conversion.
Who writes the white papers?
Senior partners on the ASP-RCM team. Aparna Suresh, our founder, co-authored the BACB resource Essential First Step on ABA insurance billing, which informs the ABA Three-Way Match Handbook. Other papers are authored by the senior partner team in Dallas with technical input from Chennai engineering and Manila operations leads.
How current are the papers?
Each paper has an edition number and a published date. Papers covering rapidly-changing material (V28 condition map, denial taxonomy, BCBA credentialing TAT) are refreshed quarterly. Papers covering structural concepts (NCR framework, three-way match) are refreshed annually.
Do you license the papers to other RCM firms?
Not currently. The papers are written for the operating leaders we serve, not for resale. The work behind them is also part of why our clients hire us; making them available to competing services would not serve our clients.
Can I cite the papers in my own work?
Yes, with attribution. The papers are public technical references. Cite ASP-RCM and link to the page. We track citations and have on occasion contributed updates back to industry bodies when our work becomes the reference.
What is the planned publication cadence?
One new white paper per quarter, plus quarterly refreshes of the existing papers as needed. The 2026 roadmap includes papers on Parity-aware behavioral health billing, Hospital DNFB compression, and the Insurance Discovery + Self-Pay Reclassification playbook.

Want the paper turned into work for your practice?

The free 30-day audit is the white paper applied to your specific data. Send us 90 days of denial data and your provider roster. We return a 4-page written audit with denial taxonomy, recoverable revenue in dollars, AR aging vs benchmark, and a 90-day fix plan. Yours to keep. No SDR follow-up.
