Business Development Executive
Fill the top of the funnel for a firm that can actually deliver. You open the doors the US closers walk through, and you are measured on pipeline that converts, not activity that looks busy.
The role
What this job actually is
This seat exists to grow top-line revenue, and it is judged on exactly that. You run disciplined outbound into the US provider market, ABA and behavioral health, FQHC and community health, hospital and physician groups, ASC, therapy and dental, and you generate qualified opportunities for the US sales team. You are not cold-calling into a void. We have a content and SEO engine producing real inbound, a conference program that puts our name in front of buyers repeatedly, and case evidence that survives scrutiny. What we need from you is volume, precision and relentlessness. If you want a quiet seat where activity counts as achievement, this is not it.
Ownership
What you will own
Qualified pipeline, every month
Own a monthly qualified-meeting target for the US sales team. The target is not a stretch goal. It is the job.
Outbound that lands
Multi-channel outreach into named accounts: email sequences, LinkedIn, and phone into US time zones. Researched, specific, and worth the recipient's time.
Target account intelligence
Build and maintain the account and contact universe: practice owners, BCBA founders, CFOs, revenue cycle directors and FQHC finance leaders. Know who decides before you dial.
Qualification discipline
Qualify hard on fit, pain, timing and authority. A meeting that wastes a closer's hour is worse than no meeting at all.
A clean handoff
Hand every opportunity over with the context that lets the closer run: what hurts, what it costs them, who is involved and what happens next.
CRM truth
Keep the CRM accurate and current. Your pipeline number should never need explaining.
Ramp
Your first 90 days
First 30 days
Learn the services, the segments and the proof we can cite. Build your target account list and get your sequences live.
By day 60
Hitting the qualified-meeting target consistently, with a working outbound motion you can show and repeat.
By day 90
MANDATORY: pipeline you sourced has converted to at least one signed deal. Any size. That is the bar, and it is not negotiable.
Requirements
What we look for
- MANDATORY: this role is measured on generating pipeline that converts to revenue. Meeting the monthly qualified-opportunity target is a condition of the role, not an aspiration
- MANDATORY: at least one signed deal traced to pipeline you sourced inside your first 90 days, regardless of deal size
- Two or more years of outbound business development or inside sales into the US market, ideally healthcare, revenue cycle or B2B services
- Excellent spoken and written English, credible on a first call with a US practice owner or finance leader
- Comfortable with rejection and high activity volume, and organised enough to sustain both
- Willing to work US-aligned hours on-site in Chennai
- CRM-disciplined: Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce or similar, used properly rather than reluctantly
Bonus
Strong plus, not required
- Experience selling or prospecting into ABA, behavioral health, FQHC or hospital revenue cycle
- Familiarity with outbound tooling: Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, sequencing platforms
- Basic revenue cycle literacy, enough to ask a real question about denials or AR
- A track record of consistently exceeding a meeting or pipeline quota
Accountability
How this role is measured
| Measure | What it means |
|---|---|
| Qualified opportunities created | The number. Monthly, against target. |
| Sourced pipeline value | Dollar value of opportunities traced to your outreach. |
| Sourced closed revenue | Deals won from your pipeline. This is what top-line growth actually means. |
| Meeting-to-opportunity rate | Quality check on qualification. Volume that does not convert is not performance. |
| Activity discipline | Outreach volume and follow-up compliance, held to standard. |
| Data hygiene | CRM accuracy and account coverage, audited. |
Why ASP-RCM
Why this seat is different
We are senior-led by design. A senior partner is named on accounts and shows up in the work, which is why clients renew and why this role carries real authority rather than a title. Our AI suite is in production, not in a roadmap deck, and our compliance posture is independently audited: SOC 2 Type II with HITRUST, ISO 27001 and HIPAA.
We pay for certifications and run upskilling cohorts, because coding and revenue cycle are crafts that need investment. You will work across Dallas HQ, six US states and Chennai, India, with colleagues who have run these functions at scale.
