Full Stack Developer
Build the platforms our own operations run on. Real users down the hall, real claims, real money, and feedback the same week you ship.
The role
What this job actually is
We build the software our revenue cycle business runs on: coding automation, credentialing and enrollment workflow, eligibility and authorization tooling, AR workbenches and client reporting. You will own features end to end, React and Tailwind on the front, Spring Boot and PostgreSQL behind it, and you will see the effect within days because the people using it work in the same building. This is product engineering with a short feedback loop and a real accountability line, not ticket-shop work.
Ownership
What you will own
Features end to end
Take a workflow problem from requirement through schema, API, UI and release. You own it working in production, not merged.
The React and Tailwind front end
Build interfaces operations staff use for hours a day. Fast, keyboard-friendly, and honest about state, because a spinner that lies costs someone an hour.
Spring Boot services
Clean REST APIs, sane layering, real validation at the boundary, and error handling that surfaces the problem instead of swallowing it.
PostgreSQL that holds up
Schema design, indexing and queries that stay fast as claim volume grows. Constraints in the database, not just hopes in the application.
Quality you can prove
Tests around the logic that matters, especially anything touching money, eligibility or PHI boundaries.
PHI discipline
Healthcare data carries obligations. Least privilege, no PHI in logs, and audit trails that stand up to review.
Ramp
Your first 90 days
First 30 days
Get the stack running locally, ship a small production change in week one, and learn the domain well enough to know what a claim, a denial and an authorization actually are.
By day 60
Owning a feature area, taking requirements directly from operations leads and shipping without hand-holding.
By day 90
Delivered a feature that measurably removes manual work, with tests, documentation and a clean release behind it.
Requirements
What we look for
- Three or more years building production web applications end to end
- Strong React, including hooks, component composition and state management, with Tailwind CSS in production use
- Solid Java and Spring Boot: REST APIs, dependency injection, JPA or JDBC, and Spring Security fundamentals
- Real PostgreSQL depth: schema design, indexing, joins, transactions and query tuning, beyond ORM defaults
- Comfortable with Git, code review, CI and containerised deployment
- On-site in Chennai
Bonus
Strong plus, not required
- Healthcare revenue cycle knowledge is a distinct advantage: claims, EDI 837 and 835, eligibility 270 and 271, CPT, ICD-10 and denial workflow
- Experience with HIPAA-regulated systems, audit logging or access control models
- Exposure to LLM or AI-assisted product features
- Python for data or automation work
- Reporting and analytics experience, Power BI or equivalent
Accountability
How this role is measured
| Measure | What it means |
|---|---|
| Shipped impact | Features in production that remove measurable manual effort from operations. |
| Defect escape rate | Bugs found in production versus caught before release. |
| Cycle time | Requirement to production, kept short without cutting the tests. |
| Performance | Page and API response times held as data volume grows. |
| Code review quality | Reviews that catch real problems, given and received. |
| Security posture | Zero PHI exposure findings. Access and audit controls correct by default. |
Why ASP-RCM
Why this seat is different
We are senior-led by design. A senior partner is named on accounts and shows up in the work, which is why clients renew and why this role carries real authority rather than a title. Our AI suite is in production, not in a roadmap deck, and our compliance posture is independently audited: SOC 2 Type II with HITRUST, ISO 27001 and HIPAA.
We pay for certifications and run upskilling cohorts, because coding and revenue cycle are crafts that need investment. You will work across Dallas HQ, six US states and Chennai, India, with colleagues who have run these functions at scale.
