Power BI / Analytics Engineer
Build the reporting that clients and operators actually make decisions from, on data you can prove is right.
The role
What this job actually is
You build and maintain the analytics layer behind our client reporting: data models, pipelines and dashboards covering the revenue cycle metric set. Our clients are CFOs and practice owners who act on these numbers, so correctness and reconciliation matter more than visual polish. You will work closely with Operations and Client Services to turn questions into measures that hold up.

Design and maintain the models behind our KPI reporting so numbers reconcile to source.
Client dashboards
Build reporting that answers the question a client actually asked.
Pipeline reliability
Keep refreshes running and catch failures before a client does.
Metric definitions
Own consistent definitions so the same KPI means the same thing everywhere.
Reconciliation
Prove reported numbers tie back to the ledger and source systems.
Self-service enablement
Make it possible for operators to answer their own routine questions.
Ramp
Your first 90 days
First 30 days
Learn the data sources, current models and where numbers currently disagree.
By day 60
Reconciliation gaps documented, at least one model improved, refresh reliability measured.
By day 90
Trusted reporting on a stable pipeline with definitions documented.
Requirements
What we look for
- Three or more years building analytics with Power BI, including DAX and data modelling
- Strong SQL
- Experience building reporting that external customers rely on
- Discipline about reconciliation and data correctness
- Able to translate an operational question into a measure
Bonus
Strong plus, not required
- Healthcare revenue cycle data experience
- Python for data transformation
- Experience with HFMA MAP Keys or similar KPI frameworks
