Senior Manager, Client Services, US

Own the delivery for a book of US clients end to end. Not a reporting layer. You know the AR, the denials, the credentialing status and the coding impact, and you are accountable for what actually ships to the client.

The role

What this job actually is

Most client services people can read a report. Fewer can open the AR aging, find the 90 day bucket that is quietly rotting, work out that it traces back to a credentialing gap from four months ago, and get it fixed. That is the difference this seat is built around. You carry a book of US clients and you are accountable for what those clients actually receive: the cash, the reporting, the escalations, the commitments made on their behalf. You are hands on in the revenue cycle, not narrating it from a distance.

Ownership

What you will own

The client deliverable, end to end

Everything that reaches the client is yours: the monthly reporting pack, the KPI commentary, the action log, the follow-through. If it goes out with your book on it, you have read it and you stand behind it.

The revenue cycle, hands on

AR aging and worklist prioritisation, denial trends and root cause, clean claim rate, credentialing and payer enrolment status, coding and documentation impact on cash. You work these, you do not just report them.

Client performance against target

Net collection rate, days in AR, denial rate, first pass yield. You know where each account stands this week, what is moving it, and what you are doing about the ones that are not moving.

Escalations, to closure

Be the named person when something breaks. Diagnose it honestly, tell the client what happened, drive it to root cause, and make sure it does not recur. No hiding behind the offshore team.

The bridge into delivery

Translate what the client needs into what the Chennai and Dallas delivery pods actually do. Set priorities, unblock the team, and hold the line when a commitment is not realistic.

Onboarding and change

Run new client implementations and mid-flight changes: new locations, new specialties, payer changes, system migrations. Own the plan and the go live.

Ramp

Your first 90 days

First 30 days

Learn your book cold. Open every account: AR aging by bucket, denial mix, credentialing status by provider, contract terms, open escalations, and what the client thinks of us right now.

By day 60

A written performance and risk read on every account, the reporting pack standardised across your book, and at least one concrete cash or denial problem identified with a fix in motion.

By day 90

Reporting and review cadence running on time, escalations closing to a documented SLA, and one account with a measurable improvement you can show with evidence.

Requirements

What we look for

  • Six or more years in US healthcare revenue cycle, with at least two owning client relationships directly
  • Genuinely hands on end to end: eligibility and VOB, authorisation, charge and coding impact, claim submission, denials and appeals, AR follow up, payment posting and reconciliation. You have personally worked these, not only managed people who did
  • Can open an AR aging, a denial report and an 835 and tell us what is wrong and what you would do first
  • Has carried a book of clients and been accountable for their numbers, not just their satisfaction score
  • Credible with a practice owner, a CFO and a billing manager in the same conversation, including when the news is bad
  • Comfortable directing an offshore delivery team across time zones and holding it to standard
  • Based in the United States and authorised to work here
  • Travel is a requirement of this role, not an occasional extra. Client sites, conferences and internal reviews come up at short notice. You are expected to travel whenever the business needs it, including ad hoc trips with limited notice. This seat is not a fit for anyone who needs to place conditions or limits on travel.

Bonus

Strong plus, not required

  • Depth in ABA and behavioral health, FQHC, hospital and physician, ASC or multi-specialty groups
  • CPC, CPB, CRCR or comparable certification
  • Hands on with Availity, Waystar, Office Ally, CentralReach, Athena, eCW or similar
  • Experience running an RCM implementation or a payer or system migration
  • Credentialing and payer enrolment experience

Why ASP-RCM

Why this seat is different

Plenty of vendors put a relationship manager between the client and the work. We do not. This seat is expected to be in the revenue cycle, which is why it carries real authority over delivery priorities instead of forwarding requests to someone else. A senior partner is named on accounts and shows up in the work.

Our AI suite is in production, not in a roadmap deck, and our compliance posture is independently audited: SOC 2 Type II with HITRUST, ISO 27001 and HIPAA. You will work across Dallas HQ, six US states and Chennai, India, with colleagues who have run these functions at scale.
